The Battle Proms are proud to be supporting Combat Stress.
Combat Stress specialises in helping veterans of the Armed Forces and Merchant Navy with psychological injuries caused through service to their country.
Combat Stress have never been busier and are already working with the first veterans of the Iraq War to add to the list of veterans of recent conflicts and peacekeeping operations who currently need their help and support. A collection for Combat Stress will be held at the Battle Proms. |

The glorious heritage Garden set in 200 acres of Grade II* Parkland offers a wealth of inspiration and ideas for keen gardeners and dabblers alike.
Winner of the Historic Houses Association/Christie's 2004 'Garden of the Year', the Garden is a plantsman's paradise, world famous for its collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, rare trees and plants introduced by the great plant collectors in early 1900's mainly from the Himalayas, Andes and Tasmania. Created by Col. Stephenson Clarke in the 1890s, the Stephenson Clarke family continue to maintain this collection, which is of immense botanical and historical interest.
It captivates and delights our visitors with a series of distinctive Arts and Crafts 'garden rooms', which reflex the changing moods of nature. Early Spring sees magnolias and camellias burst into flower. Mid Spring rhododendrons and azaleas provide a riot of colour. In Summer the sumptuous Rose Garden is in full bloom along with the richly planted borders. The garden is set in an outstanding landscape with breathtaking views over the Sussex High Weald.
The Garden is open from 21 March until 3 September, 2008 more details and full list of events can be found on www.bordehill.co.uk
